A high-quality, microporous woodstain that provides a satin finish and highlights the natural grain of the wood. It is suitable for both interior and exterior use on smooth timber joinery, such as doors, windows, fascia boards, cladding, and garden furniture.

• Excellent durability and weather protection
• Resists cracking, blistering and peeling
• Protects against harmful UV rays
• Coverage: Up to 15 square meters per litre depending on the nature and porosity of the timber
• VOC content: Max 400 g/l VOC

Additional Information:

• Preparation: Ensure all surfaces to be stained are sound, clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, polish, or any other surface contaminant. Remove any resins and natural oils using White Spirit. Existing varnish should be rubbed down with fine waterproof abrasive paper, rinsed thoroughly and allowed to dry. Previously untreated softwood should be treated with a suitable clear preservative.
  
• Application: Stir Johnstone's Trade Woodworks Satin Woodstain thoroughly before use. Apply two or more coats of varnish evenly, by brush along the wood grain as required, paying particular attention to the end grain. On bare or new wood, apply at least two coats of Satin Woodstain to give maximum durability. A third coat may be required where extreme weather conditions exist.
  
• Drying time: Recoat after 16 to 24 hours under normal conditions. Allow longer in adverse conditions.
  
• Cleaning: Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before cleaning. Clean application equipment immediately after use in White Spirit or Turpentine Substitute.
