Description

A tough and premium matt emulsion paint, Johnstone’s Trade Cleanable Matt is designed to extend maintenance cycles through its excellent stain resistance and high durability. It helps to prevent stains from setting into the paint and makes removing stains and marks easier. The Cleanable Matt is designed for high-traffic areas which require frequent cleaning.

• Can be used on wallboards, concrete, cement rendering, brickwork and blockwork in internal situations. It is also suitable for primed wood and metal surfaces.

Preparation

All surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free from loose and flaking materials. Rub down the previously gloss-painted surfaces with a fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.

Application

Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Do not breathe the spray. Wear respiratory protection. Stir well. Seal absorbent surfaces such as new plaster with a coat of Johnstone’s Trade Cleanable Matt thinned up to 20% with clean water. Do not apply in temperatures below 10 degrees celsius or in damp conditions.

Cleaning Stains

Apply all-purpose cleaner to a sponge or soft cloth and wipe away stains from surfaces and allow to dry.
