Vent Axia 494143 Response 7 HTP 100mm/4" d-MEV Extractor Fan

This ventilation system uses small, energy-efficient fans that operate constantly, providing a cost-effective and quieter alternative to intermittent fans. By continuously removing stale air and replacing it with fresh air, this system ensures good indoor air quality.

The discreet HTP bathroom unit is designed specifically for social housing and comes equipped with features such as a day logger, power run meter, built-in lock function, and a seven-year warranty. The unit also includes an adjustable dynamic ambient response humidity sensor, a timer that can be set from 1 to 30 minutes, and a boost function that can be activated by a pull cord, humidity sensor, switched live, or remote button. The tiled front of the unit allows for a discreet installation.

The d-MEV system is a continuous mechanical extract ventilation system that is designed to draw moisture-laden air out of wet rooms such as bathrooms, utility rooms, and kitchens. Compared to intermittent fans, it provides a quieter and more efficient system.

According to the Building Regulations Approved Document F, there are four main methods of ventilation. System 3, which is continuous mechanical extract ventilation, can be achieved through a single centralized extract unit, such as the Sentinel Multivent, that is ducted to wet rooms or through decentralized individual fans, like the Lo-Carbon Response, installed in wet rooms. These fans run continuously at near-silent levels and offer a simple and effective form of ventilation. The Lo-Carbon Response is a constant volume dMEV unit with switched live (LS) and an innovative digital display that operates quietly and has high-pressure development, making it the best in class. Its attractive and discreet styling will complement the decor of any new home, while virtually silent operation ensures optimum ventilation is achieved without intrusive noise.

The Lo-Carbon NBR DMEV and DMEVe range is designed for new build properties and comes with a 7-year warranty. The units are SAP rated and can be installed in Zone 1 in bathrooms because they are IPX5 rated. These units are suitable for wet rooms, bathrooms, utility rooms, and kitchens.
