The Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon Tempra is designed to fit in a 100mm diameter hole and is ideal for remodelled properties with kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, or utility rooms. The unit meets the current Building Regulations Approved Document F performance requirements for continuous extract fans.

The Tempra is available in three versions: P with pullcord control, T with overrun timer, and HTP with built-in pullcord, overrun timer, and humidistat. There are two spigot lengths available: 320mm and 460mm.

The manual summer setting allows the unit to be set to extract only, which helps to keep a home cool in hot summer weather.

Tempra can be programmed to run continuously at 6 l/s or 9 l/s, with a maximum boost of 15 l/s, recovering heat from extracted air and returning it to the dwelling. The unique, compact heat exchanger saves energy and reduces your carbon footprint by having a temperature efficiency of up to 78%. The Tempra is set to 15 l/s for intermittent extraction.

The Tempra is also designed to introduce replacement air at a slower rate, ensuring that the room being ventilated maintains a slight negative pressure. This ensures that fresh air from the rest of the house is brought into the room, preventing humid air from migrating.

The Lo-Carbon EC/DC motor with twin impellers consumes as little as 3.2 Watts at a trickle rate and operates almost silently at 20 dB.

The Tempra's unique heat exchanger design allows it to be installed in a 100mm diameter hole, replacing standard 100mm extract fans while providing all of the benefits of heat recovery. The maximum thickness of the wall is 460mm.

A longer version of the Tempra is available for installations with wall thicknesses ranging from 321mm to 460mm. The 460mm models are denoted by 'L'.

Tempra is simple to install and maintain, and it can be installed in the same location as an existing 100mm diameter fan. It also has easy access to the heat exchanger for maintenance.
