Description

Delivery Charges

Due to the large and heavy nature of the Fakro products we have to charge for some deliveries; however, orders over £585 are delivered FREE.

Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown at the checkout and cannot be refunded.

Delivery charges are for deliveries to mainland England, Wales and Scotland (excluding the Highlands and Islands). Deliveries may be available to other areas of the UK, rates are available upon request. We will deliver the goods to the address you specify in your order. It is important that this address is accurate. It is your duty to inform us of any access problems or vehicle restrictions (such as size, height or weight of vehicle) prior to delivery.

Delivery Times

Standard delivery times for stock items are 3-5 working days. For non-stock items, the estimated delivery time is 20+ working days. This estimated delivery time is not guaranteed.

Deliveries

Deliveries are scheduled between 8:00 and 20:00 Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. If you need to change your delivery time or date after placing an order, please email as soon as possible, and we will attempt to arrange a better date suitable for you. However, due to the nature of the courier schedules, this is not always possible. Your order is normally a pallet delivery (usually a heavier item) you will receive a call before delivery from the courier. The pallet will be delivered to the driveway, and it is the customer's responsibility to move it from the kerbside or driveway.
A network of couriers is used for deliveries from FAKRO, so the delivery type and courier will depend on where you are in the UK.

We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions unless this is caused by the driver's negligence.
We will aim to deliver the goods by the time quoted for delivery but delivery times are not guaranteed. If delivery is delayed due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, the delivery time will be extended by a reasonable period and we will contact you to arrange an alternative time.

If no one is present at the time of delivery, the goods will not be left and a delivery recharge will be made.

Delivery Errors. At the time of delivery please check the goods thoroughly before signing for them. Shortages and errors at the time of delivery cannot be rectified later. If any damage is apparent please notify us immediately by including if possible, photographic evidence of the damage. Any goods signed for unchecked will be deemed to be received in good condition.

Returns Policy

Cancelling or Returning My Order

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have a statutory right within 14 days to return your order and receive a refund. This does not apply to bespoke or personalised items that are made to your specification.

TRIPPLE AND QUADRAPLE GLAZED FRAMES ARE CLASSED AS BESPOKE AND CANNOT BE CANCELLED OR RETURNED.

Reporting Faults. If you believe the product to have a fault, please do not return it without first contacting us to explain the problem. Refunds cannot be given unless it is fully established by the manufacturer that the fault is with the product itself and that it has not been damaged or wrongly fitted.

To return or amend an order, you can email  or call 0115 786 7107, quoting your order number.

We must receive a cancellation request with your order number to produce a return number for you that can be placed on your product box. This helps to identify the order.

You can cancel your order anytime from placing your order up until 14 days so long as the goods have not been dispatched (not including Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holidays) commencing the day of your order. This does not apply to bespoke or personalised items. 

You must take reasonable care of the items and return them back via a carrier yourself, we recommend taking photos before couriering and insuring for the full value.
If the item has been unpacked, we will charge a £35 administration charge.

Returns – Any return of goods must be made within 30 working days of receipt of the goods. Any returns outside of these dates will not be accepted. Returns will not be accepted on items which have already been fitted.

Returning Goods. All items must be returned in their original packaging and protected so as to avoid any damage. Goods being returned must be sent by secure carrier and by signed delivery.

A restocking charge of 25% will be deducted from any refund offered following an inspection that the return is in a sellable condition.

Cancellation by Heating and Kitchens

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:

  1. we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered
  2. we do not deliver to your area
  3. the goods you ordered were listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our Suppliers.

If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit or debit card within thirty days of your order.

bespoke baskets of goods. Any Bespoke baskets of goods requested by customers or suggested by an employee of Heating and Kitchens or FAKRO GB team are the responsibility of the customer to check for accuracy and suitability before completing payment. Heating and Kitchens cannot accept any returns for items purchased through bespoke baskets and all items are none returnable.
